Girl Scouts Care to Share Match Day | Thursday, March 12th
We are partnering with Girl Scouts of Northern California again on Thursday, March 12th for their annual Care to Share Match Day! In honor of the Girl Scouts’ 114th Birthday, all Care to Share cookie donations made online will be matched package for package in support of the Berkeley Food Network and other community partners across Northern California.
Last year the Girl Scouts program donated over 22,000 boxes of cookies to the Berkeley Food Network which were then distributed to the community. We’d love to surprise thousands of community members again this year with boxes of yummy Girl Scout cookies. Don’t forget to mark your calendar for March 12th.
Free Outdoor Concert | Saturday, March 28th – 3:00-4:15pm
Musicians Jocelyn and Walter are hosting Porch Concert #43 on Saturday, March 28th! Expect another awesome group of musicians, and interesting mixture of songs that will take you back in time and put everyone in a good mood. This is a fundraiser for both the Berkeley Food Network and LIVING JAZZ.

This lively community gathering features local food, music, and a chance to connect with friends and neighbors while celebrating Berkeley’s incredible food scene.

Come celebrate the vibrant Gilman District at the Gilman District Street Fair, a lively neighborhood event filled with local food, music, art and community spirit. Berkeley Food Network will be there connecting with neighbors and sharing more about how we’re working together to build a stronger, more food-secure Berkeley.
Stop by our table to say hello, learn about ways to get involved, and take a break at our community hydration station. We’ll be offering free water and a welcoming place to sit, relax, and recharge while enjoying the festivities.
