Volunteer Day with the Mayor
Saturday, June 13th – 9:00-1:00PM
Join Berkeley Food Network, Mayor Adena Ishii and community members from across Berkeley for a family-friendly day of service, creativity and connection.
Volunteers will help with a variety of hands-on projects across Berkeley Food Network’s warehouse and pantry operations, including:
- Receiving food donations from Berkeley Food Network Neighborhood Food Project volunteers
- Sorting fresh food and groceries in the warehouse
- Deep cleaning and resetting pantry spaces
- Writing encouraging cards for community members and children
- And more!
Training, snacks and tours will be provided throughout the day.
First Fridays Gilman Wine Block | Friday, June 5th, 8pm
Join Berkeley Food Network and our neighbors at the First Fridays event at the Gilman Wine Block as we help kick off Berkeley Restaurant Week. This lively community gathering features local food, music, and a chance to connect with friends and neighbors while celebrating Berkeley’s incredible food scene.

Berkeley Pride 2026: From Joy to Justice | Sunday, August 30, 11am to 5pm
Berkeley Food Network is honored to partner with the Pacific Center for Human Growth for Berkeley Pride 2026: From Joy to Justice! We’ll be hosting a table to support this powerful celebration of LGBTQIA+ and QTBIMPOC arts, culture, and history. We invite you to stop by our booth to connect with our team! We can’t wait to celebrate joy and justice alongside our East Bay neighbors!
